Tombstone Mystery--Photo added!

I found an interesting little story in today's L.A. Daily News. A Sprint cell phone tower worker found Sarah Robinson's tombstone in the Vasquez Rocks area. Sarah was born in 1822 and died in 1889. The mystery is how and when the now-damaged tombstone was placed in the Vasquez Rocks--and where Sarah is actually buried. There are no established cemeteries in the immediate area.

I wonder if she has any descendants living in the Los Angeles area.

Vasquez Rocks is about 45 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, and is situated between Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley. It is popular with day-trippers and hikers.
